Shania Banton lives in Queens, New York where she was born and raised. She is a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications and a minor in Film and Media. 

She has been writing screenplays and editing content for over 5 years and directing/producing content for 3 years.

After working in luxury retail all through college and traveling the world to over 10+ cities, Banton started to develop her content from tutorials and vlogs to full productions. Some of her work includes web series, online cooking shows, theater performances, and more. Her comedic, creative, and ambitious sense  is poured into her work.

Banton studied acting at the Susan Batson studio in order to prepare herself for acting in her own projects. To help out other creatives in her community she teaches beginner video/photo editing classes. She also creates social media content for small brands and companies.  Her work has has allowed her to work with Uber, Spike Lee, Kweli TV, Brainwashed, DONTsay, The Golden Gals, Affiliates Radio, Purely Patricia, and more.
